What if the same number appears twice in the combination or in my guess?

Hey, good question. It gets kind of complicated when the combination has the same number more than once. Remember that a 'snikt' means we got the right number in the exact right spot. A 'click' means that we got a number that appears in the combo, but we put it in the wrong spot.

If you guess that a combo has a single five in it, then you'll get at most a single 'click' or a single 'snikt' out of it. it doesn't matter if the combo has a whole slew of fives! You only get feedback on the fives you put in the guess.

Also, snikts take precendence over clicks! If a number could give me either a snikt or a click, I'll hear a snikt. This kind of thing happens when you correctly guess a single five, but there is a second five hiding elsewhare in the combo!

Some examples:
