This page provides a few hints about how to navigate the Tyrannus web site.
You should always see the Tyrannus header at the top of the page while
you are in the Tyrannus section of the site. This header contains a
number of useful links.
- Log In
- Use this link to sign in and get ready to
play. It's located right under the Tyrannus logo, after user:
- log out
- This link replaces the Log In link while
you are logged in. Click this link to log out when you are finished
playing so that no one can order your fleets about without your
permission. This does not end your game; it merely closes your
personal connection to the server. You can (and should!) come back
and log in again to check on your empire.
- home
- The home link brings you back to the
Tyrannus home page.
- werdna
- This link brings you to the werdna.com home page.
- bugs
- Use this link to report any bugs associated with the werdna.com website.
- help
- This link leads to the Tyrannus help Table of Contents.
- forum
- Click this link in order to participate in the
Tyrannus forum. Users can post questions, answers, concerns,
ideas, and opinions.
- battlegrounds
- The battlegrounds link leads you to a list
of various battlegrounds you can join in Tyrannus. Use this link to get back to your game if you've been clicking around the forum or the help pages for a while and you don't want to click your browser's BACK button any more.

When you are examining a particular battleground, the Tyrannus header
will also contain the following battleground-specific links:
- Rank
- This page shows you a list of the players
in this battleground, and where they stand.
- Planets
- This page shows you a list of the planets you
control in this battleground. If you want to get a more complete
summary on this page, click the "toggle detail" link after you get
there!
- Fleets
- This page shows you all of the fleets which you control in this battleground.
- Orders
- This page shows all of the orders that you have
issued for the upcoming turn. You can cancel any of your orders up
until the server begins processing the turn.
- Borders
- This page shows all of the hyperspace links that join your empire to the outside world.
- History
- This page lists all of the important events in your empire's past.
- Galaxy History
- This page lists all of the important events in the battleground's past.
- N Messages
- Located in the upper-right corner of the
Tyrannus header, this link will allow you to send messages and read
messages that other users have sent to you. These messages are
primarily meant for communication between empires in a particular
battleground, so if you are expecting a meta-game message, be aware
that you can only see messages from the battleground you are currently
viewing. You can also send a message by clicking the recipient's name
wherever it appears as a link.
- Quit Game
- Located directly beneath the "N Messages" link,
this link allows you to leave the current battleground and abandon
your empire. You can always join in again later, if you want to. If
you want to keep running the same empire, then DO NOT QUIT THE GAME!
Just log out. Abandoning a particular game does not affect any of the
other games you might be playing.
